Children of Bodom + Shadows Fall + Soilwork After I managed to get some tickets for that concert I really wanted to see all these great bands live. When I arrived at the Batschkapp/Frankfurt where the bands played the first thing I saw were crowds of Metallers without Tickets. When I entered the Club I was hit by the tropical heat inside and I saw that I didn't make it to the beginning of Shadows Fall. I didn't know one song from Shadows Fall so they weren't much interesting for me and even the first rows were only shaking there head a little bit. After 45 minutes they finally left the Stage and made room for Soilwork. When I visited the concert I didn't know much about Soilwork, but their music was good. After they played a few songs the mood for banging grew stronger and a moshpit was created in the first rows. This concert brought me to the decision that I need a Soilwork Album. After another 45 minutes the set changed again and Children of Bodoms equipment was built up. They simply entered the stage and I had to go a few rows to the stage. First song they played was 'Needled 24/7' and since this moment hell broke loose in the hall. There was a gigantic Moshpit in the front of the stage and I was at the centre hehe, great fun. When you thought there can't be more aggressivity they played some songs like ' Silent Night Bodom Night', 'Triple Corpse Hammerblow' or 'Bodom Beach Terror' and the hell broke loose again. After about 40 minutes every Metaller in the room was totally exhausted, at least the ones which were in the first 20 rows. It seemed like it had more than 40 Degree in the club and everything was full of sweat. A great concert with lots of fun, especially when Alexi cheered up the fans or the keyboarder played a few songs for children. Even the light show was great, simply imagine 'Silent Night Bodom Night' with green lasers above your heads. After 70 minutes of Children of Bodom playing they left the stage and I left the Batschkapp too. I was totally exhausted but HAPPY! |
